AIM AND SCOPE OF SECURITY

To provide high quality trained and motivated guarding and services to ensure total protection to the premises/complex.

 FUNCTION AND DUTIES

Security personnel assigned to the particular client shall guard and protect the personnel (employees & occupants) and property of the client and all personnel present inside from injury/damage/loss through theft, fire trespass, espionage, sabotage, riot and insurrection in accordance with the rules and regulations of the client.

 EMERGENCY RESPONSE

The security staff provided by the ACTIVE SECURITY SERVICES shall be responsible for maintaining the emergency response plan. In case of any emergency arising in the premises/complex, security staff shall be required to perform the following functions.

• Maintain records of irregular employee entry/exit as per attendance recording procedure of company.
• Enforce safety/regulation as per role of security defined in safety procedure of client.
• Guide and regulate movements of incoming vehicles to designated areas in parking slots.

 SECURITY AT PARKING AREA

The guard posted in the parking area shall ensure proper parking of the vehicles. He shall also maintain the register mentioning timing of incoming/outgoing vehicles. A reflecting mirror device with a torch fitted on it is suggested to be provided to the guard to have the under carriage so that any hidden object may be detected.

 MATERIAL MOVEMENT CONTROL

Movement of material into and out of premises shall be controlled as per the laid down procedure of the client. The activity will involve the following functions:

• Any material going out of the premises shall be checked at gate pass issued by authorized officer.
• For any material, which cannot be checked at gate, security supervision shall be provided at the print loading/ unloading.
• All the incoming material shall be recorded in relevant register and stamp and entry number to be given on Challan.

 THEFT CONTROL

It shall be the endeavor of security/housekeeping staff provided by ACTIVE SECURITY SERVICES to ensure that no theft of Client property takes place.

• To ensure that all the places, which are supposed to be locked, are properly locked.
• When housekeeping activities are in progress during off time, ensure nothing is stolen from there.
• All the guards posted at various control posts must be alert and watch for any suspicious movement of material or PERSONS and check them.

 VIGILANCE

Security staff will be briefed to act as the eyes and ears of the client. They will particularly identify any unusual behavior of the staff, any union like activities, formations of cliques and clans etc. These will be confidentially reported to your senior management. Security staff shall perform vigilance duties.

To collect information of any anti client activities being planned or of any planned activity to damage client property and report to Security Control office immediately.

 REPORTS TO BE SUBMITTED

Monthly reports of activities carried out by our security/ housekeeping staff will be initiated and the same can be sent to the Manager Security of the premises covering the following:-

• Visits carried out during day by the staff.
• Visits carried out during Night by the staff.
• Important occurrences relating to security.
• Vigilance report covering any union activity/other confidential matters.
• Slate of Fire Equipments
• Fire practices carried out
• Evacuation drills carried out.
• Any other important information desired by the client.

 VERIFICATION OF SECURITY PERSONNEL

Although Police verification is carried out of the security personnel being recruited, our verification team also verifies the same, after visiting their residence.

 ACCESS CONTROL PERSONNEL SECURITY

Photo identity card for contractor staff may be considered, visitors to the premises may be issued visitors cards/passes

 MISCELLANEOUS ASPECTS OF SECURITY

The following are the arrangements/requirements for effective security.

• Controlling the Ingress of visitors into premises.
• Keeping a close vigil on the movements of visitors.
• Escorting/Guiding of visitors.
• Keep a look out for any sign of outbreak or fire.
